We seek individuals with experience preparing NEPA clearance documents and natural resources studies such as Wetlands, Streams, Threatened and Endangered Species, and Natural Resource Habitat Mitigation. Most jobs require the preparation of a Categorical Exclusion (CEE), an Environmental Assessment (EA), or an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

A Bachelor's Degree in a natural resource discipline is required. A Master's Degree is not required, but it is preferred.

Environmental Scientist/Project Manager

A.D. Marble & Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Work will include management and technical activities related to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and permit preparation. The candidate will offer assistance to our office manager for the Pittsburgh office. Duties may include conducting field work, report writing, client interaction, budget and schedule management, and business development activities. The candidate should have a B.S. degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline and a minimum of 7 years of experience preferably in the transportation industry. The position will require excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment. The ability to interact with a variety of clients in various situations is a must. Candidates for this position should have experience in more than one of the following subject matters: NEPA documents, natural resources studies (wetlands, streams, wildlife), wetland and stream design activities, Pa Chapter 105 permits, NPDES permits, and E&S Plans. Experience with construction related services including construction management would be beneficial. CADD and/or GIS capabilities is a plus.

This is a full time position that may require limited traveling.

Environmental Scientist/Designer

A.D. Marble & Company is seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist/Designer for the Conshohocken, Camp Hill, or Pittsburgh Pennsylvania offices or the Owings Mills, Maryland office. Work
will include field investigations (involving wetland and stream delineations and assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys), National Environmental Policy (NEPA) documentation and permit preparation The candidate will offer assistance to our Environmental Scientists and Noise Specialists. Duties may include conducting field work in all types of weather and terrain conditions as well as periodic overnight travel The candidate should have a B.S. degree in Botany, Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline The ideal candidate would have 0-3 years of experience in a related field. The position will require a candidate with excellent
written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.This candidate must be adaptable and able to listen and learn from others.

It is also highly desired that the candidate be proficient in the current release of AutoCAD, Microstation, and GIS applications. This person will be responsible for assisting in the development of detailed drawings in AutoCAD to comply with client requirements and agency reviews. Strong emphasis on CAD capabilities, speed
and accuracy is desired. Calculations of quantities, areas, etc. commensurate with water resources engineering as well as CAD duties associated with transportation noise analysis will be part of the job.
